The Hellios Collier was designed in New York in 1973 - during the period when Minas was working and exhibiting in the city. The piece was re-released recently, the original form unchanged. Named after Helios, the Greek god of the sun, it has a different quality to the Athens-period work: rawer, more direct, shaped by a different city.
