Unveiled for the first time on May 19th, 2023, Unchained marks a powerful new chapter in Minas’ creative legacy: a bold, large-scale sculpture that captures the raw essence of movement, form, and restraint.

  Unchained is the first monumental sculpture designed by Studio Minas — a commanding work that extends his lifelong design philosophy into sculptural scale. Measuring 2.60 meters wide and 2.10 meters high, the piece is cast in solid stainless steel, embodying both visual tension and fluidity.

  Presented at the OLP Stone Warehouse during a landmark event on May 19th, 2023, the sculpture was placed at the space’s center on a base of black marble, carefully carved to mirror the natural ripples of the sea. The contrast between reflective steel and deep marble evokes the elemental balance between gravity and light — strength and silence.
