Creative Director Marios Schwab curated the “Small Trades” collection as a tribute to Greece’s artisanal legacy. MINAS contributed sculptural silver elements that seamlessly merged traditional motifs with minimalist design.

Key pieces included silver harness pendants and buttons, inspired by Kalymnos sponge divers’ diving weights — a nod to Greece’s maritime culture. These elements embodied the brand’s signature precision and sculptural clarity, adding timeless elegance to the collection’s modern silhouettes.

The collaboration debuted during Zeus+Dione’s Resort ’24 catwalk show, held aboard the Hellas Liberty ship in Piraeus. The setting itself was a symbolic choice, reflecting the collection’s themes of craftsmanship, heritage, and timeless resilience.

The show’s aesthetic, defined as “Doric Minimalism,” resonated with MINAS’ design ethos — pure, essential forms elevated by meticulous craftsmanship. Materials like copper, neoprene, and silver spoke to the balance between industrial strength and artisanal detail.

Both MINAS and Zeus+Dione are driven by a shared mission: to preserve and evolve Greek craftsmanship in a contemporary context. This collaboration exemplifies how traditional forms can be reinterpreted through modern design, creating pieces that are both meaningful and wearable.

The collaboration’s silver harness pendants and buttons were designed by Prometheus Spyridis, Lead Designer of MINAS. With deep respect for his father’s legacy, Prometheus brings a contemporary lens to the brand’s iconic design language.

For this project, he drew inspiration from the diving weights of Kalymnos sponge divers, translating utilitarian objects into sculptural elements of wearable art. His approach embodies MINAS’ design philosophy: form follows function, but elegance defines both.

Through his work, Prometheus continues to evolve the brand’s timeless aesthetic, blending precision craftsmanship with meaningful storytelling — ensuring each piece carries both heritage and modernity in perfect balance.
